Tasting Room Bar Manager & Tasting Room Retail Associate

Boyden Valley Winery and Spirits is re-opening their tasting room and patio this summer. We’re looking to hire a part-time Tasting Room Bar Manager and Retail Associate to greet customers, mix cocktails, and manage a tasting room and bar. The time commitment is Thursday-Saturday 10am-5pm at our winery in Cambridge, VT. You’d be working directly with the owners and be a part of a collaborative and dynamic team – it’ll be fun!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer questions about our different liquors

• Serve samples of liqueurs and wines, mix cocktails and make sure customers have a good experience

• Assist with merchandising and setting up the tasting room

• Support weekly promotions and specials

• Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and working efficiently

• Order supplies as necessary

• Meet sales goals

Qualifications:

• Highly personable; you enjoy working with customers and chatting with tourists

• Over 21 and licensed to pour alcohol

• At least 2 years of retail experience

• Able to operate a cash register

• Able to lift 30lbs.

• Organized and responsible

• Able to work in a fast-paced and lively environment

Details:

Job Type: Part-time, 10am-6pm Thursday-Saturday, starting in mid June

Compensation: $20/hour + tips

Work Location: Boyden Valley Winery and Spirits Cambridge, Vermont
