We won GOLD at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition!
Our Spirits are Soaring! We’re thrilled to announce that we’re bringing home 2 medals: Bronze for Maple Bourbon and Gold for Maple Bourbon Crème from the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).
The SFWSC is the oldest competition in North America and the largest spirits judging in the world. A total of 70 judges from around the world evaluated approximately 5,000 spirits over two weeks in late April 2022.
Owner David Boyden says, “It’s a big deal for a small producer like us to receive these awards. We have really high standards for product quality, and we work hard to maintain integrity in our production process. For example, every year we continue our family’s tradition of making maple syrup on a wood-fired arch. It takes longer than some other production methods, but the extra time allows the sugars to caramelize and gives the syrup a rich, distinctive flavor. Not every producer makes those same decisions, but we believe it’s time well spent because it’s the cornerstone of so many of our products.”
