1.5 oz #14 Bourbon by Vermont Spirits
0.75 oz Vermont Ice Apple Crème Liqueur
0.25 oz Cardamom Dram
Combine ingredients and shake over ice. Strain into rocks glass with ice.
1 cup high proof grain alcohol or overproof rum
1 cup simple syrup
10 pods green cardamom
2 pods star anise
1 tsp cinnamon
1 ounce Peychaud’s Bitters
Lightly crush all spices in a mortar and pestle – coarse, large pieces, not a fine grind. Place all spices and simple syrup in a saucepan and allow to reduce by half over a low simmer. Remove, strain and let cool before adding the alcohol and bitters.
